TOYOTA INTRODUCES 8-SERIES LIFT TRUCK MODELS FOR PULP & PAPER INDUSTRIES
Heavy-Duty Lift Trucks Engineered to Handle Rigorous Work Environments; Built to Meet Unique Paper Roll Applications
IRVINE, Calif. - (July 15, 2013) -Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU), the supplier of the number one selling lift truck in North America, unveiled new 8-Series lift trucks designed to meet the tough applications associated with the pulp and paper industry. Toyota’s new 12,000 lb. standard counterweight, box car, and paper roll special lift truck options meet the demands of the pulp and paper industry. The new lift trucks, which offer 8,000 - 15,500 lbs. lifting capacities, also include a new 12,000 lb. standard counterweight, box car and paper roll special option. Powering the new lift trucks is a newly designed and advanced 3.7-liter, 4-cylinder, high performance engine built by Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO), the manufacturer of more than 15 million high-quality engines.

TOYOTA COMMITS TO ARBOR DAY FOUNDATION TO PLANT A TREE FOR EVERY 8-SERIES LIFT TRUCK SOLD IN 2013
IRVINE, Calif. - (July 18, 2013) -Toyota Material Handling, U.S.A., Inc. (TMHU), the supplier of the number one selling lift truck in North America, announced that for every new 8-Series lift truck sold in 2013, Toyota will make a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation to have a tree planted in a forest damaged by fire or other natural causes in the U.S. and in Canada. Toyota estimates the donation to TMHU estimates that it will donate 30,000 trees to the Arbor Day Foundation in 2013. equate to 30,000 trees. To date, TMHU has planted more than 50,000 trees through the Arbor Day Foundation.

"The National Arbor Day Foundation is proud to have a partner in Toyota to help restore critical ecosystems people and wildlife depend on to survive."
Toyota is the world's largest supplier of lift trucks, which are used in applications ranging from retail to food and beverage warehousing. TMHU recently unveiled its new 8-Series large capacity 8,000 - 17,500 lb. cushion and pneumatic lift trucks, which include newly designed diesel and gas engines that enhance performance and fuel economy. Designed to reduce engine emissions and fuel consumption, once again, Toyota leads the way in environmental performance.
